Every Gen4 gauge pod sold here ships with the 2-piece design: a dedicated vent clip and a separate pod body. The clip installs once into the factory defrost vent and stays put. The pod body then locks into the clip, giving a precise fit and a clean removal when you need it. Better retention, easier cable routing, and no rattling. This design is exclusive to direct website purchases.

Designed for ASA filament, so parts hold up to a hot dash or a full day of sun. PLA warps, ASA survives a NZ summer.

One person. One workshop. Zero shortcuts.

NZSDesigns started because nobody was making proper gauge pods for the Subaru Legacy. The kind that fit cleanly, look like they belong there, and leave your interior exactly as it was. So I designed my own.

Every design is hand-modelled from measurements taken on real cars. Gen2, Gen3 and Gen4 Legacy models, 52mm and 60mm sizing, available in both RHD and LHD. Not copied, not AI-generated. If I would not run it in my own car, it does not ship.

The press-fit system keeps things reversible. The pod locks into the factory defrost vent and comes out clean. No glue, no cutting. Website purchases for Gen4 include the 2-piece design — a vent clip that stays installed permanently, with the pod body clicking in and out for cable management and future changes.

This is a one-person operation. You are dealing directly with the person who designed the part and will actually reply to your message. No support queue, no form submissions into a void.
